Joshua is running for Congress as the
Arkansas Green Party
nominee for the 4th Congressional District
J. Joshua Drake, Attorney at Law
Josh joined the firm in 2003. Before coming to the firm Josh spent eight years with the Center for Arkansas Legal
Services where he practiced in Garland and surrounding counties. Josh brings family and consumer law experience to the firm. He currently has a general civil litigation
practice with an emphasis in the areas of family law including: divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, guardianships, and alimony. Josh had a multi-year contract
to represent abused and neglected children as their "Attorney Ad Litem" in Juvenile court that ended in July 2007 but he continues represents a few children on an ongoing basis. He has sat as Special Circuit Court Judge over a dozen times. Josh is a member
of the Garland County Law Library Board and has served as assistant coach of the Lake Hamilton High School Mock Trial Team. Josh recently joined the Board of Directors of the Garland County CASA Program
Josh is a member of the Garland County Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in all Arkansas state courts
including the Arkansas Court of Appeals and the Arkansas Supreme Court; United States Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Arkansas; United
States Supreme Court. Josh has represented clients in court in the following Arkansas counties: Garland, Pulaski, Saline, Hot Spring, Clark, Grant, Montgomery, Yell,
Sabastian, Polk, Pike, Howard, Sevier, Ouachita, Cross, Poinsett and Nevada.
Josh is responsible for bringing the firm into the internet age and for the development of this web site. He responds to the firm e-mail on a regular basis, however, the best

- Josh and his wife of 20 years, Cheryl, have three children, Grace age thirteen and Gideon age nine and Hope age six.
- Josh and his family are avid runners and members of the Spa Pacers Running Club and Josh serves on the Board of Directors for the Club.
The Drake family participates in the Arkansas Road Runners Club of America Grand Prix Series.
- Josh has appeared in several productions at the Pocket Theatre in Hot Springs and serves on the theatre's board of directors.
